A Traditional, Egalitarian Conservative Synagogue Serving the Lehigh Valley
Located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, here at Brith Shalom we welcome and inspire Jews from all backgrounds to forge meaningful lifetime connections to one another and to God within an inclusive, caring and respectful community. We offer learning opportunities, provide support in times of joy and sorrow, and advocate for social justice within a framework of traditional and evolving Judaism.
Weekly Shabbat services begin at 9:00 am on Saturday mornings. Currently these are hybrid (online and in person).
Minyan services start at 7:45 am Monday and Thursday Mornings.
Wisdom of the Talmud Class
Talmud Class on Shabbat – Masechet Megillah. All are welcome! (No previous Talmud experience necessary) This is a perfect time to join the Talmud class as it is a new tractate (volume) and we are just beginning.
Did you ever want to learn more about our services? Curious about the meaning behind the prayers? Join Rabbi in a half hour workshop (8-8:30am) the first Wednesday of the month (beginning August 2nd) exploring both the mechanics and meaning behind our siddur (prayer book) in a small and low pressure Learner’s Minyan. Bring your questions and spiritual curiosity. Space is limited to 5-8 participants. RSVP directly to Rabbi Singer.
Chair Supported Yoga classes, taught by Miriam Serow, in person and streaming. Wednesdays, 1:00-2:00 pm. $10 Drop-In fee payable to Congregation Brith Sholom
